Given the complex work they do, nurses need to take care of themselves through self-care activities cannot be overemphasized, says Laura Dzurec, dean of 蹤獲扦s College of Nursing. We hope to see every U.S. nursing program adopt the strategies that we are emphasizing through our Care for the Caregiver program, and we expect thats exactly what might happen.
The award was presented on Oct. 29 at the AACN Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C.
The selection process was very competitive, so you and your faculty are to be highly commended, says AACN President Jane Kirschling in a congratulatory letter sent to Dzurec.
