Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies - M.Ed.

The Master of Education degree in Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies prepares scholars and educational leaders to advance research, theory and practice in diverse learning environments. The program is designed for individuals interested in exploring critical issues related to teaching, learning and curriculum design across educational contexts. Students may choose to focus broadly in their studies or specialize in one of the program’s focus areas: STEM education; teacher education; curriculum and instruction; or language, literacy and society.

The Ph.D. degree in Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies prepares scholars and educational leaders to advance research, theory and practice in diverse learning environments. The program is designed for individuals interested in exploring critical issues related to teaching, learning and curriculum design across educational contexts.

Students may choose to focus broadly in their studies or specialize in one of the program’s focus areas: STEM education; teacher education; curriculum and instruction; or language, literacy and society. Within these areas, students can pursue specific interests, such as social studies within teacher education. Focus area courses are intentionally designed to be flexible and responsive to individual student goals and interests.

Interprofessional Leadership Ed.D.: Curriculum & Instruction concentration

The Doctor of Education degree in Interprofessional Leadership allows for the study of leadership from an interprofessional perspective that is framed around questions of equity, ethics, and social justice to bring about solutions to complex problems of practice. The program prepares leaders who can construct and apply knowledge to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals, families, organizations, and communities. Field-based opportunities are provided to analyze problems of practice and use multiple frames to develop meaningful solutions. Curriculum & Instruction is one of five cognate areas available in this program. Offered 100% online, the Ed.D. in Interprofessional Leadership is cohort-based and structured with the working professional in mind.
