Nearly twenty years ago, the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation was developed as a philanthropic tool for area residents to use to ensure their charitable giving wishes continue even after their death. The Foundation is a community endowment fund that accepts monetary donations and bequests of any size. Those funds are managed by a volunteer board of community leaders and the investment income is used to support projects that will improve the lives of Tuscarawas County residents.
After a year without events, the commitment from the Foundation will assist us in returning to live events in September and continue to thrive for years to come, says David Mitchell, general manager of the Performing Arts Center. Were ready to announce a full season of shows during a free public event, on Saturday, June 12, outdoors under the stars in the Performing Arts Center parking lot.
