Angela Deibel might just be the poster child for KSU’s new research mantra: Innovation Occurs Where Fields Collide. She is one of 35 students who participated in ÂÜÀòÉç’s inaugural Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program.
Ten years ago, Nirmala Ghimirey sat on the dirt floor of a hut in a refugee camp in Nepal, holding a tattered textbook in her hands. Today, she holds an honors degree from ÂÜÀòÉç, where she’s enrolled in a Biomedical Sciences graduate program, working toward her next contribution to cancer research.
