Join us daily at 2:00 p.m. from November 1-11 for a ceremony honoring veterans and exploring the lasting impacts of combat on individuals and communities. Held at the May 4 National Historic Landmark Site, these gatherings reflect on the experiences of those who served in Vietnam and more recent conflicts, as well as those whose lives were shaped by opposition to war. Through remembrance and reflection, the brief daily ceremonies raise awareness of the challenges of coming home, including veteran suicide, and highlight the importance of healing, understanding, and community support.

Full-Time Term or Temporary Faculty
Occasionally, full-time faculty may be hired on a temporary (year-to-year) basis, whose responsibilities are not primarily teaching, such as faculty who administer grants or whose sole funding comes from non-university funding. These faculty are not represented as part of a recognized bargaining unit but receive the same benefits as other full-time faculty. The employing department determines salaries and increases for this group. The same hiring practices are used as those for tenure-track and non-tenure track appointments.
