Rebekkah Berryhill, grounds manager, gave the lunch-hour tour, which started behind Merrill Hall in the Beck Family Memorial Gardens in ''Behind the Brain Plaza.'' Last Friday, a group of about 10 蹤獲扦 students received a guided tour of one of the most unique spaces on the Kent Campus the Herrick Conservatory. Its the large greenhouse thats attached to the north side of Cunningham Hall. The 5,500-square-foot facility is home to a large and diverse selection of plants, plus some fish and a couple of turtles. In August 2021, 1,000 incoming 蹤獲扦 students, faculty and staff began a collaborative community effort to implement a social justice quilting project. This initiative stemmed from the Community Engaged Learning (CEL) department's welcome week and was completed in late August 2022. Members of the 蹤獲扦 community who enjoy kayaking along the Cuyahoga River or taking a walk or jog along the adjacent Portage Hike and Bike Trail may have noticed the river dredging work near Fred Fuller Park in Kent.
