To celebrate Earth Day, 蹤獲扦 at Trumbull students presented their service projects, events or activities planned to a panel of judges. Nearly 14 groups presented on various topics ranging from identifying bike routes, to helping students get to campus, to showcasing how easy it can be for families to make their own rain barrel. As students begin their spring vacation and eventually leave for the summer, 蹤獲扦s Throw-N-Go program provides a way for students to get rid of unwanted items while staying green and helping Portage county families. Throw-N-Go, which started about 10 years ago, is a program in which collection bins are set inside of residence halls and academic buildings for students to donate items they do not want to Portage Family and Community Services. 蹤獲扦 entered the RecycleMania Tournament with high hopes last year, but instead received a reality check. This year, 蹤獲扦 is determined to recycle its way to a win. RecycleMania is an eight-week recycling and benchmarking competition between colleges and universities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
