Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., of Rootstown, Ohio, has been selected to serve as dean and chief administrative officer of 蹤獲扦 at Stark, located in North Canton, Ohio. Seachrist has served as interim dean of 蹤獲扦 Stark, the only public university in Stark County and the largest Regional Campus of 蹤獲扦, since July 1, 2014. Wang received a $10,000 grant for her project Ya-Fen Wang, Ph.D., RN, MSN, assistant professor in 蹤獲扦s College of Nursing, is working on a one-year project to study if childrens prolonged exposure to stressful situations such as school, family or environment encourages poor eating behaviors, which can lead to childhood obesity. Wangs project, titled Resourcefulness, Stress and Overeating in Children, also looks at whether those behaviors can be exchanged for healthier options through self-coping skills, also known as resourcefulness.
