蹤獲扦 Salem's City Center received the 2016 Sunflower Award from the Salem Beautification Committee through the Salem Chamber of Commerce for the third consecutive year. The award is given based on the upkeep of the building, including clean windows, neatly maintained entryways and sidewalks, as well as an aesthetically-pleasing facade. The 蹤獲扦 community mourns the loss of former university president Brage Golding, Ph.D. Golding was appointed 蹤獲扦s eighth president in 1977 and served in that role until his retirement in 1982. Golding was born in 1920 in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and doctorate in chemical engineering. He also served in the military during World War II. Prior serving as 蹤獲扦s president, Golding became the first president of then new Wright State University in 1966 and the fifth president of San Diego State University in 1972.
