Augmented reality (AR) allows users (teachers & students) to easily create their own experiences and lessons. The creators made GLARE (GeoLocated Augmented Reality Editor), and open source and extensible AR platform hosted on Github. This platform utilizes overlaid imagery on live video feed using a hotspot and walking path design. The platform is designed to allow users to create tours by simply adding a media list and associated GPS coordinates.

A prayer was read in Hebrew at the B'nai B'rith Hillel Marker on the May 4 memorial site as part of the annual candlelight walk and vigil on May 3. The silent walk around campus begins each year at at 11 p.m. and takes about 60 minutes.
