This program has strengthened my interpreting skills and reinforced my passion and excitement for the profession itself. Every course within the program challenges me to think critically, reflect on my choices, and continue to grow as an individual and a professional.

One aspect of the program that I greatly appreciate is how interactive and individualized the coursework is. Rather than being taught simple concepts from a textbook, my peers and I can actively engage in discussions and participate in real-world applications. We are involved in an interpreting practice that directly prepares us for the professional field. None of this would be possible without the faculty who create an environment where students feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged. Even when stepping outside my comfort zone, the feedback and mentorship that I have received throughout the program have played a major role in my development.

As I continue the program, I look forward to finding new ways to challenge myself as a student and future interpreter.
